Yuletide letter

epithalamiumHi Yuletide writer! I'm epithalamium on AO3 and this is my first Yuletide (eek!) The fandoms I requested are small and kinda obscure and I'm thirsty for any content whatsoever, so don't worry: I'm sure I'll love whatever you write!
Like I mentioned earlier, I'm really easy to please and I'll read pretty much anything if it's for my small fandoms. But here's a general list of things I love and don't love so much:
General ✔
- FLUFF. I know this is weird considering all fandoms I requested involve people getting killed and whatnot, but I'm sure there's some time for banter and fun before the deaths (I mean, those also exist in canon). Characters being silly and making puns are also A+
- AWKWARD STUFF. Like characters banging their foreheads together while kissing, trying to be sexy and failing, general lighthearted absurdity.
- SETTING. I'm kind of a weeb so I love Japan references. Random details that give us a feel that we're in Tokyo (or Nevada, or wherever you want to set it). Characters talking about manga they read, shows they watch, or just generally talking about things that make us think 'Oh this is so [place]!'
- POLITICS/POLITICAL DRAMA. Basically political intrigue or social manipulation. Work-related politics. I'm really partial to bitchy and/or manipulative characters.
- HAPPY ENDINGS. I'll leave the definition of 'happy' to you, I'm fine with open-ended fics, or fics where no one gets together, but I'd very much like it if everyone's alive. (If this is a timeline in the game where they ALL died, that's fine.)
General ✘
- CHEATING. Open relationships/fuck buddies/sex friends are A-OK but no cheating please.
- PWP. I'm fine with smutty bits, but not for the whole fic.
- OMEGAVERSE. (I don't really understand it.)
- TERMINAL ILLNESS.

ZERO ESCAPE
Junpei, Aoi
I love their interactions in 999 (and Junpei even gave Santa a shoutout in ZTD!) so anything along those lines would be very much appreciated. I ship Akane/Junpei/Aoi (not Akane/Aoi though, but they can share a boyfriend) so if you'd prefer to write an OT3 fic I would also love that!
- Junpei can still very much be in love with Akane and you can write Junpei and Aoi bonding/being bros if Junpei/Aoi is not your thing. (If it's not, please don't write Aoi in a relationship with anyone. Let him be a Cat Dad.)
- I would prefer if you don't write Junpei and Aoi hooking up because Akane is dead. Or because she's hooked up with someone else. There's a lot of ways Junpei/Aoi can happen without pushing Akane away (OT3!!).
- Tenmyouji/Aoi is good. It's great actually! (Both of them as old men or cold sleep!Aoi works)
- Junpei and Aoi meeting again after ZTD and having to talk/interact with each other as future brother-in-laws is also A+. Junpei mentioned that he talked to Akane and Aoi about finding the fanatic before getting married. Maybe you can write about that conversation!
SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI IV: FINAL
Nanashi, Hallelujah
I love Anarchy route type fics where Nanashi chooses Hallelujah as his goddess. But Bonds route fics are also good: Hallelujah acting as the leader of the Ashura-kai is one of my fave things, let him be a small yakuza boy. If you choose to go with Bonds route, you can include any characters you like.
- Nanashi and Hallelujah going through Ginza shops and picking up luxury fashion items would be great. Let Nanashi wear Gucci track suits.
- If you really want to get fancy and write a fight scene, that would definitely be much appreciated. Hallelujah yelling 'I will protect you!' in the Anarchy route is great.
- Nanashi and Hallelujah trying out the questionable food in the Hunter's Association pubs is also great.
- Basically Nanashi and Hallelujah bonding and being silly boys. If you choose to write them as a ship, I'd prefer not to have sex scenes.
- If you want to write Asahi/Nanashi/Hallelujah that's also fine with me! (No love triangles, we poly relationships like men.)
DEVIL SURVIVOR 2
Yamato, Daichi
This is a bit of a crack ship, but please bear with me. The fanart on tumblr is just too cute! I know there's not a lot of things happening with them, since Yamato is more focused on MC, but Daichi's 'I can say I'm in love with Yamato!' is kind of iconic. There's also Daichi trying to show that he appreciates what Yamato has been doing and trying to find out what present Yamato might enjoy in Record Breaker. Basically I like happy but awkward Daichi trying to cheer Yamato up (he's actually older than Yamato can you believe this shit).
- You can totally write Yamato dating MC and/or Daichi dating Miyako if you like, but I'd love the focus to be how Yamato and Daichi interact with each other.
- Happy Record Breaker ending where everyone's alive and having fun at the beach would be appreciated.
- That scene where Yamato finds everyone dead and Daichi barely alive is also great. Introspective fic that explores character personality is also A+. (Needless to say, you can add in any and all characters you want, so long as the focus in YamaDai.)
DOUBLE MINTS
Mitsuo, Mitsuo
First off, kudos to anyone who ever thought to use Mitsuo 1 and Mitsuo 2 in the AO3 tags. It's so confusing without seeing the kanji/kana! This is probably my favourite Asumiko Nakamura manga and I was really happy when I heard there was going to be a movie. (I was also a bit scared because you know how live action BL can get so cringe. But I think they did well in focusing on the noir aspects and the actors were so good!)
- I prefer older Mitsuos because White Mitsuo (we'll call him WM from now on and Black Mitsuo is BM I guess?) starts to balance BM out better once they've gotten older. Of course they're not equals because WM is a big masochist. But I think it's interesting how BM's weird sadomasochistic tendencies play with WM's desire to own BM. Am I even making sense? You know what I mean! It's a really weird relationship and exploring that would be great.
- The Mitsuos going to Korea (or China, it's China in the manga but Korea in the movie?) and getting culture shocked would be amazing. Them not knowing a lick of the language and just being all ???? would be hilarious.
- Basically I don't care if you write them just sitting at home and eating instant ramen, it's really their dynamics that I like to see.
- Whump fic is also good if it's BM getting beaten up. You can also write about the gang rape scene if you like, but please nothing too graphic. BM loving rough sex with WM is 👌👌👌👌
